About the Role

An exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join a high-profile retailer to lead the delivery of brand positioning and the strategic plan across a range of food products. Taking responsibility for brand development across tiers in designated categories, the Brand Manager will join a talented brand team translating propositions into concepts, and interpreting ideas and insight into commercially successful product ranges.

It is a fast moving and innovative product area to work in, with real breadth and variety in the products that will give excellent development opportunities.


The role

  • Supporting the strategic planning process across tiers for several food product categories, building platforms and pipelines for growth and aligning the senior team at relevant stages.

  • Creating compelling and insight-led concepts to deliver the strategic plan.

  • Working with cross functional teams within the milestone process to turn concepts into propositions across the 6P’s.

  • Looking at the strategy for launching new ranges, through to how to launch in-store/online.

  • Developing strong relationships with cross functional teams, external creative agencies, and key stakeholders.

  • Constantly monitoring the market and customer metrics in product area to proactively identify issues and opportunities.

  • Brief insight, execution, and design teams to bring propositions to life and as brand champion, ensure good implementation of brand guidelines.

  • Ensuring relevance and transferability of brand and category specific strategy, guidelines, pipelines and mixes.



About you

  • Previous brand management experience within food, beverage or FMCG products would be ideal, or alternatively experience from a high-profile brand and an interest in food.

  • A passion for innovation and a flair for creating memorable stand out products through effective branding.

  • Strong relationship building skills with great communication and stakeholder management

  • Enjoys working with others through teamwork and collaboration.

  • Commercial understanding, with the ability to build commercially successful brands.
